Amit Sengupta is one of the most well-known Bengali origin artist in Auckland, New Zealand. He is a singer, music teacher and composer. He is also the founder of Md Rafi Academy of Music NZ and the man behind the popular live music event 'Old is Gold'. He boasts of a wide body of work in Bengali and Hindi and also has been actively associated with politics. In this episode, he talks about his journey in and outside NZ and his interactions with legends like Satyajit Ray, Pt Ravi Shankar and also touches on his future endeavors
