Dr. Alex Stopa is a drummer, percussionist, and marimbist based in Las Vegas, NV. Born in Australia, Alex is in high demand throughout the Las Vegas music scene as well as the percussion community throughout the world. Dr. Stopa performs regularly as a percussionist and timpanist for the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Nevada Ballet Theater Orchestra, and Nevada Pops Orchestra. He currently plays drums for “Le Reve” at The Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas and is a founding member of the Pana Percussion Quartet. He currently endorses Sabian Cymbals, Majestic Percussion, Vic Firth drumsticks, and Remo drumheads. You can find Alex's original compositions and arrangements through Tapspace Publications.
