Former Gloucester back row forward Pete Glanville chats to Mark about a game against touring side Northern Transvaal just a few months before the amateur era ended. We chat about the "amateur" build up, the Gloucester team of that day and the famous names that appeared for the visitors such as Joost Van Der Westhuizen, Ruben Kruger and a certain Johan Ackermann! Pete also talks about how the game was impacted pre-TMO and also the struggles for professional rugby players who are forced to quit the game early. In other highlights, Pete tells us about how his company Water Cooler Direct is making a huge difference to the sustainability challenge and his own challenges when he was asked to take on the new role of Team Manager at Kingsholm when he retired.
