Researchers at Queensland University have carried out genomic sequencing of Arabica coffee...in the hopes Australia can produce its own coffee bean.

There are concerns coffee quality could slump, as climate change impacts the cooler high altitude areas where coffee is produced.

The coffee industry is considered the most valuable agricultural commodity in the world.

Rural Reporter Emily Minney has spoken with Professor Robert Henry, who says it's an opportunity for Australia to capitalise on its reputation for good coffee.
