Supermarkets are being told not to use a global shortage of orange juice to jack up prices at the check out.

Brazil supplies 70% of the world's orange juice and is experiencing drought and an outbreak of disease on it's citrus crops.

Farmers say domestic produce cannot keep up with demand.

Rural Reporter Emily Minney spoke with New South Wales Farmers Horticulture Committee Chairwoman Jo Brighenti Barnard about how the international supply impacts the domestic market.
