A 12 week pilot program has wrapped up, providing nurse-led virtual care to rural prostrate cancer patients.

The Uni SQ project aimed to highlight and fix the gaps in cancer survivorship and supportive care services in rural Australia.

According to researchers its the most critical gap in the regions.

Rural reporter Georgia Kondek spoke with Professor Jeff Dunn who says it helped those who didn't want to travel for care:
