The Safetyologist Podcast is a great place to learn about the safety profession. In this episode, you will get to hear a very personal story about me and my experience with Burnout. Burnout is a serious mental health issue that must be discussed more. I've kept this secret for more than 10 years in hopes of never dealing with it again. The problem with keeping this to myself is that I am not helping others as much as I could and should be.
Like I said in the previous episode, this podcast is not going to be your normal humdrum safety meeting-style podcast. This podcast is a story-based podcast. Stories help teach and that is just what I am aiming for. I aim to teach anyone who wants to become a safety professional and change lives. Together we can keep each other safer through safetyology.
