Host Maddie Davis interviews Daniel Elkin, who was born in New Jersey, raised in Dallas, Texas, and educated in Upstate New York. He has lived in the Nevada County area for the past 25 years. He spent 20 years in education as a High School English teacher at both Bear River High School and Bitney Prep Charter High School. He is now the Communications & Engagement Director at SYRCL (the South Yuba River Citizens League), owner/marketing director of Elkin Education Marketing, and President of Fieldmouse Press, where he also act as Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of SOLRAD, the online literary magazine for comics.
