To make matters worse, these same individuals often possess a victim mentality and will seldom take accountability for the hurt they may cause you in the process. Salice discusses the importance of trusting one’s own instincts about a person and acknowledging red flags in individuals as soon as they are noticed, as reluctant as we may be to do so. More importantly, she discusses the importance of self-growth and learning to value quality over quantity in both friendships and relationships in order to live our happiest and healthiest lives.
