311 was established in 1990 in Omaha, Nebraska by a group of five close friends: Nick Hexum (lead vocals and guitar), Tim Mahoney (guitarist), SA Martinez (vocals and DJ), Chad Sexton (drummer), and P-Nut (bassist). Over three decades later, they continue to perform together.
Known for their captivating and energetic live performances, 311 blends elements of rock, rap, reggae, and funk to create a distinctive and innovative sound. With a rich history of touring, having played over 2,000 shows in 27 countries, 311 stands out as one of the few bands with the original lineup still intact, sharing this distinction with iconic bands like U2 and Radiohead.
