Pastor Geoff Surratt, Greg's younger brother, shouldered a great deal of responsibilities during his 20 years as a Seacoast pastor. Part of this season included leading a very young and inexperienced pastor, Joey, who hosts and produces that podcast. Joey reflects on various lessons he's learned from Geoff and how he's still a bit intimidated by him. They both share stories of working through some challenges and Joey also talks to Geoff about working with his big brother, gets the scoop on Geoff's contributions on innovating the multisite approach to church-planting, and what transpired for him to venture away from Seacoast into different ministry opportunities.
At the top of the episode, Lynne, Amy, Jack and Joey reflect on the podcast, including some memorable moments, favorite episodes, and the dynamics of podcasting together.
