Conversations with Kids About Sex, Body Image, Shame & Guilt

The Self Study Project

We're talking healthy body image and sex education for children and parents with special guest Maylia who is 14 years old. Our youth are being used for the sexual dysfunction of adults. Through the toys that they play with, the media distortion of body image, the readily available pornography, and the online access to people beyond your control, our kids are seeing things and doing things that rob them of their youth and will have negative effect on their future relationships. Where does this start? How are we teaching self-respect and sacred intimacy if we are in a society that creates body image shame and guilt? We discuss this and more.
