Get ready for some critical thinking fun! Your students will have the chance to step into the shoes of lawyers and take part in a criminal trial. With 11 awesome cases to choose from, each group will have two lawyers (one for the prosecution and one for the defense) and an accused person. You’ll play the judge, guiding the jury as they vote on the verdict! Here’s what you get: - Court brief handouts to keep things simple - Easy-to-follow directions for a smooth experience - PowerPoint slides that explain how the trials will work This hands-on activity is a great way for students to learn about the legal system while sharpening their critical thinking and public speaking skills.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a teacher of social studies, government, civics, psychology, English, reading and language arts (ELA), or just need a fun activity that promotes critical thinking!
