Talked with a friend, Orville Seymer, Citizens for Responsible Government about how we can learn as taxpayer/citizens/parents, to hold our elected officials accountable. Orville is known as a controversial citizen by some and a concerned citizen by others. Orville and I do not agree on many topics, or candidates but on one item he is dedicated to is teaching people the way to stand up and do what is right, on this we agree! Not always easy, but you can be effective, respectful and active in obtaining information that is necessary to hold your local (as well as other) elected officials accountable.
