Students at Columbia University, both pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian, gathered and remembered the day from different perspectives. Israel continued its bombing of mosques and schools in Gaza, alleging that they were being used as Hamas command centers and killing civilians. The UN says that 90% of Gazans have been displaced multiple times. From FRANCE- First an Israeli press review from October 7th. A press review from the Independent (UK) presented a front page with facts and figures from the war on Palestine, followed by some other international press reviews. Then an interview with Ahmed Benchemsi, a Communications Director at Human Rights Watch on the treatment of Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons- HRW says it is a war crime. From CUBA- French President Macron has called for an arms embargo on Israel. Israeli forces killed Hassan Hamad, a 19 year old Palestinian journalist in a targeted assassination.
