In this episode of the Meet Houston Missions and the Simmons and Fletcher Local Mission Podcast. Paul talks with Casie Harris, Manager of Victim's Services at MADD in Southeast Texas and the Valley. Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is a national organization that hosts several local and regional events aimed at reducing the amount of drunk and drugged driving accidents on our roads as well as assisting victims of these horrible accidents.

MADD is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1980 by Candice Lightner following the death of her daughter, who was killed by an impaired motorist. The organization, which is now a nationwide force for change, began with one mother’s vision in California.
MADD was instrumental in passing Bentley's Law in Texas to make drunk drivers pay child support and has been a force for change in the drinking and driving legal realm.
MADD has a number of events and opportunities for people to volunteer, fundraise, and get involved.
