Pacific Small Island Developing States (PSIDS) make up seven of the ten countries facing the highest risk of internal displacement from extreme weather events.

In the final episode of the first series of the Social Impact Journal, I talk with Krishnan Narasimhan, the Programme Manager of the Pacific Climate Insurance and Adaptation Programme with the United Nations Capital Development Fund.

We discuss his career journey in the insurance sector, what life is like working at the UN, and his current programme, equipping communities in the Pacific Islands with insurance products and financial tools to mitigate the risks of climate disasters.
