This week it was just the GU crew, and we talked about how and why you should audit your brand, Facebook ads issues, lead generation and business development, webinars we've done recently, shopping locally and local marketing, and more.

- Christina talked about all the different webinars we've done recently

- A few changes to Instagram and Pinterest this week

- Shop Local is big news this year. How to tailor your posts to make the most of this and how best to advertise.

- How to make sure you help small businesses through tagging, sharing, engagement, etc.

- Facebook had a bit issue with adverts this week and lots of accounts and adverts were banned accidentally. The fall out from this is still going on.

- How best to advertise in the run up to Christmas - message, budget, placements, regular review, etc.

- Amanda talked about business development and lead generation and why building good foundations is important.

- Brand audits - Why it's so important to review your brand guidelines from time to time and make sure you are still following them. It's easy to tweak this and that and not realise you've strayed from where you started and lost consistency.

- Consistency in your brand is very important and affects people's perception of your brand. If someone sees a leaflet advertising a product, for example, then the website and social channels should match so they immediately know they are in the right place when searching online for you.
