Anxiety and Panic Attacks: Even though the holidays are often considered a joyful time, many people seriously struggle this time of year. Family events can be stressful due to strained relationships, family conflict, or the stress of holiday travel, while some families are grieving the loss of a loved one for the first time. Time and time again, I’ve had many of my clients and colleagues express their frustrations and anxieties surrounding the holidays, which many times lead to panic attacks and anxiety. To this date, even I deal with sadness, wishing my parents and other loved ones were around. I always manage to pull myself out of it, but what if you’re struggling to do that? On today’s podcast, let’s talk about it and discuss strategies to combat these road blocks, not only for the holidays but for anytime during the year.
