We’re having a real convo about what’s really happening from the City to the State. It seems like there are many trainings and conversations about Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity, but is that what’s happening? Even places like Connecticut which claims to be progressive, is it really? Black and Brown people were groomed into serving mediocre whiteness, our ancestors fought for us to be here and do what with that? Should we really be surprised by the judgment calls being made by those in power or those with perceived power? Why is that ok and how can we do that and expect anything to change for Black and Brown people?
