Takeaway practice described in this episode: Creating Safety from Within
At any point in the next week, if you notice a scarcity fear or a scarcity thought that is causing you to feel threatened, try any one of the following practices for creating safety from within:
-Physical movement of any kind for 20-60 minutes
-Breathing, particularly slow, unhurried deep belly breaths for at least 5-10 minutes
-Positive social interaction
-Laughter, and/or crying (or if you find a really good dark comedy, maybe you will do a bit of both)
-Affection, particularly a 20-second long hug
-Creative expression of any kind, particularly the type that is physicalized such as dance, singing, etc. Can also include more introspective expression such as journaling, painting, etc.
