Several of Phil Jackson's players have called him a racist for years. But after hearing his recent comments, in conjunction with his decades of comments and beliefs, is being exposed for the fraud that he is. And he's getting a pass. And that is not okay.

Phil is basically telling people to shut tf up and dribble and keep politics out of it. And many of you are going to ask the question, what's wrong with that? What's wrong with that is that we should all, especially white people do anything and everything no matter the venue to fight against the machine, social injustice and police brutality. It's insulting to every black and brown American who has died, fighting for equality.

Not only is he not a Zen Master, he's wrong about keeping politics out of sports. If anything, it's the perfect landing spot to raise awareness and to mobilize. The good news is that for every Racist Phil Jackson, there's an Arne Duncan and many more, especially those that are a part of the Gen. Z, Cuspers, and Millenial posse (I purposely used that word, Phil) who will fight for what's right.

I only wish I heard more from the white influencers when things like this happen like the Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Larry Bird, and anyone in this space who could leverage their white privilege and platform to be a powerful and transformational bridge and vessel.

We need more white people to speak up and dribble, speak up and pitch, speak up and shoot, and speak up and hit.
