My guest for Episode 82 of The Startup Playbook Podcast is James Mckinnon, an angel investor and founder of Australia's #1 babysitter and nanny app, Sittr.
James has had a unique journey to date. Having worked initially at a boutique advisory firm, James decided to jump into startups and learn more about the space by becoming an angel investor and investing in promising early stage startups
After investing in a number of companies such as Expert360, ResponSight and Airly, James decided to take the plunge into founding startups himself, teaming up with his partner to launch Sittr, an app based marketplace for babysitters and nannies.
Since launching in 2014, the app has gone on to have over 20,000 users and being featured as the number 1 app for it’s category by Apple.
