Laura Hiett has 19 years of teaching experience and currently teachers first-grade. She is passionate about building deep relationships with her students and spending time with them to build trust. She has moved from being rigid to having more of a growth mindset. Laura will share with us about how her students have started their own podcast and how she is taking chances this year. How Laura views her students will inspire you and remind you to value who they are and where they are in their learning from behavior to academics.
