Welcome to the first episode of the Stupid Sequels Podcast! Our first guest is Rebecca Hawkins and we are reviewing Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True, the sequel to Cinderella. In this episode we discuss the anachronistic attempts at humor in the pop sequel to the classic 1950s musical that single handedly saved Disney. From disgusting desserts, to ideas for the next great spy franchise, this episode has it all! We find truly terrible movies and give them all the attention they don’t deserve. ?Each episode we’ll discuss exactly what made such a horrible sequel from casting to budget to just plain bad writing. While we all love a great movie there’s something just a little more fun about watching a seriously stupid sequel. Now while there are plenty of awful sequels out there we have a few guidelines about the kind of movies we’ll be reviewing. We’re talking about direct to video, made for tv, never appeared in a theatre sequels. The ones the studios gave up on before they even started. Our logo is designed by Nicole Wiseman @NicWise. Our sound engineer is Francis Gacad. Our theme song is “The World At Large” by Dan O'Connor at DanoSongs.
