Welcome to the latest episode of the Stupid Sequels Podcast! Our guest is Melanie Stein (miss_melanie624) and we are reviewing the Parent Trap III. This third installment of multiple siblings forcing their parents love lives is a follow up to the 1961 classic! While the original (and the 1998 remake, don’t worry we discuss it) are full of fun and hijinks, this sequel plays more like an after school special turned horror movie! With mistaken identities, love triangles to spare, and too many characters without characteristics this mess was a lot more fun to discuss than watch! We find truly terrible movies and give them all the attention they don’t deserve. ?Each episode we’ll discuss exactly what made such a horrible sequel from casting to budget to just plain bad writing. While we all love a great movie there’s something just a little more fun about watching a seriously stupid sequel. Now while there are plenty of awful sequels out there we have a few guidelines about the kind of movies we’ll be reviewing. We’re talking about direct to video, made for tv, never appeared in a theatre sequels. The ones the studios gave up on before they even started. Our logo is designed by Nicole Wiseman @NicWise. Our sound engineer is Francis Gacad. Our theme song is “The World At Large” by Dan O'Connor at DanoSongs.
