True story. I was sharing my ideas from my dissertation, a guy from Kenya told me that I spoke like a Kenyan. But other people from Europe, Asia, and the US told me that I spoke like someone from their region. What gives?
Contrast this with the efforts of politicians today who try to be a chameleon of sorts, changing their appearance and rhetoric depending on the target audience.
What is the Lesson? Oh, and I did complete that doctorate and earned a PhD.
