Lisa and I talked about the book she wrote with her husband Ed “A Path Through Pain,” which came out of experiencing the sudden passing of their oldest daughter Lee Beth a few years ago. The subtitle says How faith deepens and joy grows through what you would never choose. And we talk about that in this conversation and it’s actually the journey through the Winter journal. None of us would choose the hard path of a winter season yet the deepening of our faith as we surrender our season to God is sometimes hard to explain.
