Kelly visits with the cool, progressive and beautiful Rev. Caren Teichmann to discuss the tools you can use to get unstuck and how to get there. They both share a love of travel, especially the healing nature of solo travel.
And Caren's dissertation about dream work is a topic Kelly was excited to dive into. What is the subconcious telling us and how do we see the signs more clearly by interpretation of dreams.
Caren likens the transformation following divorce as the transformation of a butterfly.
"One of the symbols I talk about a lot with people is the butterfly, and the way the caterpillar transforms into the butterfly. And actually what happens when the caterpillar spins that cocoon. The caterpillar completely dissolves into goo, absolute and total goo. And that that's the best metaphor I have for describing that feeling (following infidelity and divorce). Goo. Yeah. And you don't know that you're gonna fly when you're the goo. That the other butterflies know, like, Oh, this is this is what's happening. And it's going to be painful. It's going to hurt, but it's not going to last forever."
Kelly met Caren through an intensive bible study in the early 2000s and they have supported each other through many of lifes changes.
