How does a woman break into the male dominated world of conducting? Hear how Australian musician Nicolette Fraillon did just that. She was the first woman to conduct an Australian symphony orchestra. Nicolette started conducting with the Nederlands Dans Theater then the Dutch National Ballet. During the following years she worked with many European orchestras before returning to Australia to take up the position of Director at the Canberra School of Music. Since 2003 she has been Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Australian Ballet. Nicolette shares her experiences and love of ballet with us on Reflections.
