In today's episode, we pull up for a chat with Thomas Krafft, who at age 18, embarked on a jam-packed Toastmasters journey that led him to achieve a Distinguished Toastmaster Award (DTM) by age 25.
Listen as Thomas outlines his Toastmasters experience, his role in steering five clubs as President and being an Area Director three times, and more.
He also shares why he chose to join a second club, and how that expanded his network and diversified his exposure to different speaking styles. So, what's the real value of being a member of multiple Toastmasters clubs? With 13 years of experience as a Toastmaster, Thomas is here to demystify that.
He also shares how the organisation has positively impacted his career, leading him to become a communications and training expert. From giving back to the community to using Toastmasters as a launchpad for testing new strategies, we delve into the many benefits of being part of this supportive organisation.
Thomas shares some practical tips and lets us in on one of his recent projects — training clubs on the effective recruitment of new members. As we wrap up, we reflect on the vast opportunities Toastmasters offers for personal and professional growth. His story highlights the many benefits of embracing Toastmasters as part of your own growth journey. Don't miss this one!
