In this episode, we unlock the treasure trove of conferences and training opportunities that await Toastmasters who choose to take advantage of a packed annual program!
I walk through the various area and division gatherings, where fellow Toastmasters compete and learn through educational sessions.
But that's just the appetiser! The main course is the illustrious district level conferences, a blend of contests and educational programs designed to perfect your leadership and communication prowess. I also share my firsthand excitement as a first-timer on the organising committee for the District 69 conference and as a competitor in the evaluation contest – it's going to be a big weekend in Caloundra!
Meanwhile, I'll be painting a picture of the Toastmasters International Convention, the apex of our global community's gatherings, set in the vibrant city of Anaheim, California this August.
In the second half of the episode, I walk through some of the various leadership training available to Toastmasters - at whatever stage of their journey they find themselves.
Whether you're a seasoned public speaker or a curious newcomer, this episode promises a glimpse into how these events can shape your journey and catapult your speaking skills to new heights. So tune in, and let's get talkative about turning every speaking opportunity into a standing ovation.
