146: Brawlout And Wolfenstein DLC

Two is the loneliest number, and on this Christmas Day episode with the four of us there, only two had games to talk about. Talk about your Christmas Grinches. That's alright, I'm sure Santa will bring plenty of great games this year for the gang. That is, unless he brings coal.

Gary leads us off and he talks Battlefront II, the newest one. He beat it and it's basically nothing special. That's being kind. He mentions "the newest one" because he also played Battlefront II from 2005. The memories are solid and the campaign is awesome. Yet, what is even more awesome is Shadows of the Empire. A classic Star Wars game in a time when we get neither good games or movies. Plus, Dash Rendar is a badass and gets a jetpack. Gary then briefly mentions Wolfenstein DLC and Little Nightmares, but is really waiting to talk about Immortal Rednecks. I don't want to spoil anything. Just go listen.

Then Brian, with Hoppenhelm, a endless runner of sorts. Basically, a Brian Shitter Game™. He also played Brawlout. Not to be confused with Brawlhalla, which is also a Super Smash Bros.-like game. However, Brian does not like it. Lastly, more Breath of the Wild DLC. Brian is really enjoying himself and finding new things. What more could you ask for?

We thought it was going to be a light news week with the holiday and all, but that doesn't seem to be the case. We've got plenty to talk about, so buckle up for Atari delays, Dragon Quest Builders, Cuphead goes double platinum, and more.

And guys get in those questions for our last episode of 2017. We're going to talk about our games of the year and would love to hear yours. So let us know!
