The Supreme Court of Texas to determine the constitutionality of Texas' new law banning child gender modification (SB 14) in State of Texas v. Loe. Mark Davis, Host of The Mark Davis Show, 660 AM The Answer, interviews Jonathan Covey, Policy Director for Texas Values to provide an argument for the constitutionality of this new law. Three questions will be addressed in SCOTX: 1.) How far does a parent's constitutional right to direct the medical decisions of their kids extend and when is it okay for the state to place limits on those healthcare decisions? 2.) Do doctors have a right to perform gender transitioning interventions on children? 3.) Does the Texas constitution guarantee equal protection for individuals based on transgender status?
