The 10th Inning Podcast would like to welcome Parker Kruckenberg from Northern State University in Oklahoma. Parker Kruckenberg joined Northeastern State University RiverHawks baseball coaching staff in the Aug. 2017 as its top assistant. Kruckenberg came to NSU (which is in Oklahoma) from Montana State-Billings (NCAA Division II) where he held a similar position with the Yellowjackets from 2014-17. While at MSUB, Kruckenberg won back-to-back Great Northwest American Conference (GNAC) regular season titles in his first two years. Kruckenberg's primary responsibility was over MSUB's infield and defense, and the Yellowjackets set a school record for fielding percentage in 2016. Prior to arriving at MSUB, Kruckenberg served as a volunteer assistant coach for North Dakota State University in 2014 and reached the NCAA Division I baseball championships. In 2013, he worked as a volunteer assistant coach at Eastern Illinois University and holds experience as an assistant coach with the Thunder Bay Bordercats who participate in the Northwoods League. Kruckenberg also served as an assistant in 2012 for Augsburg College (Minn.). Kruckenberg earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from the University of Minnesota and holds a master's in applied kinesiology with a sports management emphasis from the U of M in 2012. Kruckenberg attended Fargo South High School in North Dakota, where he grew up and is married to his wife Erin.
