Welcome back everybody, and that goes for me as well. I had to take a little hiatus as the non-profit work has ramped up. But I have a great story for you today. One of Andy Daggett who as I am typing this out is starting on his 5000 mile trek at 50 miles a day to attempt to break the World Record.
(5,058 miles: The first-ever hikers to complete the trail were Joyce and Pete Cottrell, who completed it by backpacking the entire trail in approximately two years and completed it in 2003. The next record was set in 2005 when Marcia and Ken Powers completed 5,058 miles of the trial in a continuous walk.)
