John Mullane and Frank Roche join Michael Verney for the latest Throw-In Hurling show as they look back on all the weekend hurling league action.
The lads discuss Wexford’s win over Waterford which points to their bright future but Mullane says it was a missed opportunity for the Déise as they face relegation to the second tier next season.
Elsewhere, Clare’s form and confidence continues to grow with their win over Kilkenny while Limerick continued their 100% record with a one point victory over Tipperary.
Plus, John Mullane asks why ticket prices are so high for fans and says the GAA is missing a trick by not charging a tenner to get more crowds through the turnstiles to create better atmospheres in the grounds.
