Ray "Savage" Ford closed out the night in ROCKY fashion & became the newest Featherweight Champion as he stopped Kholmatov to win the WBA Title. A spirited effort by both and a back-and-forth fight that displayed the beauty of the sport that we all love so much.
The Co-Main featured the return of Luis Alberto "Venado" Lopez and his underappreciated and often underrated style, versus a game Japanese fighter in Reya Abe. "Venado" successfully retained his IBF Featherweight Title as he pitched a shutout of Abe and a performance worthy of a standing ovation.
