This is the intimate, yet very open interview my husband, legendary Rap Artist, and supreme West Coast innovator from the Heavyweights Crew- which includes, Freestyle Fellowship ( Aceylone, Peace, Myka 9, Jupiter) , Medusa, Ganjah k ( RIP), Abstract Rude, D.K. Toon, DJ Kiilu, DJinji Brown, etc. He has high level content: from his first classic album, "Hip Hopera," to" Psycho", and "Pawnshop", to the present album, (" VOLUME 10 is Dean Hawkins", which is not actually a "rap" album, he's singing on 90% of it- and only has one feature- ME-his wife, TOMEICKO), nor the album he brought out in 2021-22 during the pandemic called, "AKHENATEN 2110", (which is ridiculously dope!) THIS interview is about BRAIN DAMAGE, the album that came out right before the most current classics. he explains and describes all of the thought processes that develops the songs on this album. it is a real interview, not a pretty one...
