The greatness of America is marred by the hard lives often endured by the modern-day heroes who have made it possible. Like most veterans, Matthew Kuchera struggled in this transition from the military into civilian life. His personal journey through and out of the woods inspired him to build Vet Pivot, an organization committed to helping vets make their way back into the workforce and civil society. It is a difficult challenge for veterans to transition from a regimented life where somebody always had their back to a chaotic world where everyone is left to fend for themselves. Vet Pivot makes it easier for them to go through this change by having each other’s backs throughout the process.
