Rape and other sexual crimes are a serious issue in our society globally, but particularly in South Africa. In this episode we hear from Mbali Lekhuleni, who was only 16 years old when she was raped at gunpoint. She shares her story of this tragic event, how she ended up shooting the assailant in self-defense and her subsequent journey of healing and restoration.
Mbali is now building her music career, has launched her the RATO Foundation and is a member of Joyous Celebration, Africa's biggest gospel music outfit.
