The Feast of the Assumption always denotes the ending of summer and the fact that fall will start soon, but it also is a pivot point for many Protestants considering conversion to Catholicism. Bo and Bud talk about the factors that made the Assumption of Mary not only "make sense" from an Apologetics stand point, but grounded Catholicism both in the here and now, the hope of Eternal life, and in the power of the Logos to imbue with more-than-symbolic power what was formerly just the vanishing shadows of time.
