On Christmas Eve 1919 a farmer was walking along the sand on St Anne's beach in Lytham in Lancashire when he discovered the body of a young woman. The police found out that she was 26 year old Kathleen Elsie Breaks. When this was further investigated they discovered that had recently become close to a man who became their prime suspect.
