Episode 35 is a conversation with Shubham Maheshwari, the founder of Being Chef. We talk about how one can cook a meal within 5 minutes with the help of the kit that Being Chef provides and how with this initiative, he is helping people take care of their health by eating home-cooked meals. He is a mechanical engineer turned entrepreneur and he had a lot of insights to share about his journey. We also spoke about how one can overcome their fear and be a better version of themselves by just doing the things that they love.

It has been over 5 years since Shubham started this firm. He came up with the idea of Being Chef when he was staying away from home and found out that cooking was not an easy task. And he also felt that many of his peers echoed with this problem. So he thought, what if, all the ingredients are given to the people proportionately packed in a box, with instructions as to what does in the pan when. Wouldn't that make cooking a joyous task? That is what Being Chef does, gives you the tools to prepare your favourite dishes within 5 minutes! All you need is one pan!

A few talking points that we covered:

1. His journey so far

2. About his firm Being Chef

3. The transition from a mechanical engineer to a full-time entrepreneur

4. Research done before setting up the firm and learning from his mistakes

5. His team and about the concept of Being Chef

6. A message for anyone who is starting out as an entrepreneur
