The milk crate challenge has taken the timeline by storm, & it is perhaps a perfect metaphor for life. You take small, careful steps towards your goal only to fall swiftly (& sometimes painfully). In this 'game' few will prosper. Luck is a major factor in success for most, while others reach the goal by carefully strategizing & planning their steps.
The last few months might feel like the milk crate challenge for track star Sha'Carri Richardson as she finished dead last in her return to the track during the women's 100m event at the Nike Prefontaine Classic. The heaping wave of jeers & jokes pointed directly at the young phenom are only rivaled by the sweeping praise & adulation she received during her meteoric rise only months prior.
