Today we got the chance to talk to KD & Demi from the Villebillies about the history of their first version of My Old Kentucky Home that released in 2004 featuring Scales from Nappy Roots, and about how the remake came about 20 years later featuring B Stille from Nappy Roots. They also give insights into the music industry and some of the struggles that come with it. KD even speaks on working with artists like Juvenile, E-40, Snoop Dogg and others, while Demi shares his experience meeting Alice Cooper while he was remaking one of the Villebillies songs, Holy Water.
If you haven't heard it yet you should definitely listen to the remake of My Old Kentucky Home and make sure to keep an eye on them and their upcoming releases!
