Dr Kersi Chavda is consulting psychiatrist in Bandra, Mumbai.
He was the chairperson of the task force of the Indian Psychiatric Society dealing with the LGBTQ community. They managed to issue a position statement that was quoted in the landmark judgement by 2 of the 5 learned judges when they repealed article 377.
