Professor Griff of Public Enemy sat down with Vlad to speak about his role in Public Enemy and explained the reasoning behind him getting kicked out of Public Enemy. Griff details Chuck D and Flav getting a deal from Def Jam and how Rick Rubin didn't want Flav to be a part of the group because they understand his purpose. He goes on to explain that Public Enemy was the first group to bring uzis on stage and speak on Black Power while detailing the timeline of hip hop and the Black revolutionary movement.
