Elizabeth Furth has been a Roaster for around 12 years and is the Head Roaster at Chimney Fire Coffee. A passionate coffee blogger and roaster, Elizabeth's coffee journey started in 2011 when her brother set up a speciality coffee roasting business in Vienna.

In an industry where women only make up 24.2%, Chimney Fire Coffee has a 50/50 split between male and female employees in top roles at the company and has 100% female roasters.

This International Women’s Day, with equity being the focus, Elizabeth is an interesting person to hear from on how companies can embrace equity the right way and how she has been able to thrive in an environment that is heavily male dominated.
