In the book of Haggai, the people of the Lord were neglecting the rebuilding of His temple. We know that prophets were sent to tell the people the heart of the Lord for His people. Haggai was sent to warn them.
The Lord wants us to rebuild our temples, our bodies, by spending time in His Presence, reading His Word, worshiping Him, and in prayer. He also wants us to focus on the building of His ekklesia, His church. Many of us want nice houses, but what about His house? If we continue to neglect His house, we will never have enough no matter how hard we work. This is a spiritual and financial principle that we must understand and we must obey His word to BUILD HIS HOUSE!
